Yesterday was my last day working at The Press Association in the UK. I worked with the company 2 1/2 years or there abouts. My first position was Entertainment Picture Editor but I later progressed to Assignments Editor for UK Press working under the Press Association banner.
I had such an amazing time while I worked with PA and I learnt more about ‘media’, professional photographers, the PR world and just the way everything works than I could have possibly imagined. I’m so grateful for the experience this job has given me.
I won’t lie, I’m super excited about the move to New Orleans, working as a photographer/forging a new career for myself and married life. Finishing this job is a huge step and a big commitment from me. I hope to never have another ‘proper’ job again.
Exciting.
